Adhan

The bowing position in Salah where the worshipper bends from the waist, placing hands on knees, glorifying Allah saying "Subhana Rabbi al-Azim".
Sajdah

The prostration in Salah where seven body parts (forehead, nose, palms, knees, toes) touch the ground; the closest position to Allah.

The opening 'Allahu Akbar' that begins the prayer. A required pillar (rukn); once said, all worldly speech and action become forbidden until the closing salam.

The seated recitation in the middle and end of Salah testifying to Allah's oneness and Muhammad's ﷺ prophethood ("At-tahiyyatu lillah...").

A dry ritual purification with clean earth/sand, permitted when water is unavailable or its use would cause harm, replacing both Wudu and Ghusl.

The person appointed to recite the Adhan and Iqamah; a position of honor in Islamic tradition.

A designated place for prayer — especially the open ground outside a settlement where the Eid prayers and prayers for rain (Istisqa) are performed, following the Prophetic Sunnah. Also used for any prayer mat or area.
