Maghrib Prayer Time — When Is Maghrib Today?
Maghrib is the fourth of the five daily prayers, prayed immediately after sunset. Its time begins the moment the sun's disc fully disappears below the horizon and lasts until the red twilight fades (the start of Isha). Maghrib is 3 rakah of obligatory prayer — the only prayer with an odd number of fard rakah — with 2 sunnah rakah after it.
In Ramadan, the Maghrib azan marks the moment of iftar, when the fast is broken. The Prophet ﷺ encouraged praying Maghrib early, without delay.
